How many of the concerts in Europe will be played outdoors? Im going to the concert at Bislet, Oslo, most known as a stadium for athletics (Golden league). Any of you been to a outdoor concert with Leonard before?

The concert in Nice will be outdoors. Right in the centre of town. The theatre sits 3,000 people.

Previously, Leonard was doing open-air gigs VERY RARELY.
1993 open-air shows in Germany (Rock am Ring Festival and one more) went very badly. The line-up was not appropriate for Leonard. But we can blame it on tour promotor: LC was giving dozens of shows in the concert halls, and the festival audiences weren't his fan audiences.
Also, during 1993 tour in Europe, due to demand, Leonard had bigger halls than in 1988 tour, and there were - according to Jim Devlin's book - many problems with the sound. His music is quiet and his voice is deep down, under the registry of many microphones (LC used to carry his own favourite mic - he was using it even for Ten New Songs recording sessions in his home studio).
Leonard also ALWAYS insisted on seated audience. (He even used to stop the singing if the audience was standing.)
So let's hope that this year's open-air gigs in parks will go as better they can.

There is
nothing more pleasant than listening to music in the open air, in Nice, in the summer.

I believe Manchester, UK are the only indoor shows.

I would also love to see him in concert outdoors during summer if the conditions were right. Actually, I'd like the best of both worlds and would also want to see him perform in a small indoor venue. I thought I read the other day that the Denmark venue, Rosenborg Castle, seats 706 but I couldn't find it again today. That would be a nice intimate venue.

Rosenborg Castle has "Inner Circle" and the rest is standing - so it will be a mixture. Well, I got my ticket, standing, but I got a ticket

so now I am wishing for good weather!

I hope that the Prage concert will have also the seats opportunity - I will be hugely pregnant (the ninth month), so I don't supose I will be able to stand all the time...

Manchester definitely indoors, but Edinburgh Castle (where I have my ticket) definitely exposed to the Scottish elements.
LC at the Isle of Wight in 1970 very open air and one of the most magical experiences of my life, but his sound was so different way back then.

Vienna Opera House (the last dates of the summer tour!) will also be indoors.
