Confirmed or not - since about two hours you can buy tickets for Leonard Cohen at the Berliner Waldbühne - 30.08.2008 - from every regular ticket office (so it doesn't seem to be a swindle, as Jarkko told for greece, see topic: Beware of scalpers/touts). I just bought my tickets. The ticket prizes are between 55-95 €. The venue is quite large, but fine, and for what more can we ask than Cohen on a late summer evening...

I was just checking to which of the other nice places in Europe I could travel just to see a concert and now I find Leonard Cohen is coming here! It's so exciting ! So I hope to see some of you here in Berlin

Waldbühne is a wonderful location. I had always wanted to be there and I once had a ticket for a Mark Knopfler show. But then he decided to crash with his motor-bike and the tour was cancelled. For those who want to take part in Berlin, I guess we will book the Event 2006 hotels again and party at the Stresemann.

Although I shouldn't check this forum during my office hours (ahem), I couldn't resist today and found out about the Berlin concert.
Booked my ticket right away .

I have booked 2 tickets and a hotel less then 1 km from the event.
On 6/7 I will see Lou Reed in Hamburg, so I'll see the best of 10/3 this summer
Now I will spend my time with praying to Bob for good weather on 30/8 in Berlin!

thanks for the info - that is settled then for a trip to have a nice week-end in summer in Berlin at the Waldbuehne and the second chance to see the master

anyone booking from outside of germany, please be aware that they charge a whopping euro 34,90 on top of ticket price for 'world booking fee' or somesuch - if i had known beforehand i would have had it send to a friend with address in germany instead - but i musn't grumble (and i went with it as i didnt want to lose the ticket)

Just choose from the seat plan at eventim.de . For me, it was very easy, since the first row was still available. I think, it will be very hard to me to find some sleep this night... so excited!

Mich hat es fast vom Stuhl gehauen. Leonard cohen in Berlin.
Jetzt habe ich drei Plätze in der 11. Reihe. Ja, yes man.
So come on Berlin: Leonard Cohen, Museumsinsel, Fernsehturm, Charlottenburg and so on.

I'm so happy 'cause I just ordered my tickets for the Waldbühne! It's such an beautiful openair venue! Maybe the most beautiful in Europe! Thanks to jarkko et al for this great forum and the LCfiles! I was lurking over here since a few years but this is my first post!
