If you had the choice, bearing in mind that Damien Rice is supporting in Dublin, whom locally, would you want to support Leonard at "your" gig?

No one
Who can compare?
Or do you mean accompany him (Bono did a fair job on Tower of Song!!)

Anyone, but please not Bono. He's the complete opposite to LC, whatever you ask (especially the relation between talent and expression). It should be someone who translate what LC is into a younger generation, so Conor Oberst would be a good choice.

No, Duets with LC are a no-no, and certainly not Bono "Africa, you owe me big time", he really thinks that David played HIM a secret chord

Please, please, I beg to you, to the gods, not Bono. The more I listen to LC, the less I like U2 and I used to love U2. Let's just say I have seen the crack and Bono is not part of the light.
You, honestly, think that Bono's duet with LC was fair? I thought it was dismal.... To each their own, I guess.

Nick Cave lives in Brighton England these days does he not?
Now if he was to support in London (not only do I think it would be a dream for Mr Cave to be support for one of his favourite artists), but it would be my two favourite artists in one night!

The Sex Pistols, obviously. I couldn't think of two more compatible acts.
Metallica would work nicely as well, and maybe Snoop Dogg could come in for a gangsta-duet version of Hallelujah. I heard there was a secret chord $%#^&#@!%^#@#%!!!
