Hi Lightning, Paula, Andrew, Wenslauw,

Lovely photos of everyone! :) Lightning, you look so pre-raphaelite and Paula is whimsical and charming in her photograph. Wenslauw seems to be very distinguished looking in his and Andrew is nice as well. Congratulations to everyone on joining the Beautiful Losers! :)

"Good call!" on Lightning, Coco! I love Thelma's look :D !

And Andrew, your mother was right! Especially in the mouth area. I suspect there are other photos/angles where the similarity between you and Leonard is even more pronounced. You look great! However, do you think they're going to let you cross the border  ?

Re: Wenslauw, I'll refrain from comment....after all, I do want to return to the chatroom and I sure wouldn't want to cross swords there with [ahem] anyone, oh say, maybe an MD  ~ seriously, however, you look as great in this photo now, as you did in this photo then, when I first saw it, routed from the chatroom, Wens :D .

See elsewhere for my comments on Paula. They still stand 8) !

It is fun to be able to put "actual" faces on the the names on this board, especially the ones that I have had some strong disagreements with. :) Your descriptions are right on Coco.

It is nice to put names to faces. The one I was surprised by was Andrew McGeever for some reason I thought he was an older gruff scottish man with a red tinged beard - sorry for the sterotyping - and he is much younger than I thought.

... and looks like leonard so much more than i belived. similarity is almost absolute. perhaps only around eyes can you tell the difference.

you picked this photo because it shows how look-alike you are, right?

Of course he did, jurica.....wouldn't you  ? I know what you mean, jurica. We know how mothers can be, particularly with their favourite heroes in the seaweed! However, Andrew's mother was spot on! One never quite knows how to look at those cameras. I'd be interested to see one with Andrew's eyes looking straight-on rather than up.

".......and here comes fresh, sweet, summery Sandra!" It's a lovely, almost-flirty photo of you, my dear! :D [Who was on the other side of that camera  ?]

Maybe, if you have posted under another name, Wenslauw, but I don't remember your name here. I don't go to the chatroom. Nice to meet you if I haven't already.

Great to see the faces at last. Some of you are different to what I imagined, Andrew, you look sooooo serious in your photo, which is at odds with your voice!

Hope to send my own picture soon, when I can find a decent one, and look forward to seeing those of others that I've corresponded with over the last few months.

Sandra ~ :D ~ It comes through  .

jurica ~ Don't feel bad. Neither do I  . Only a few have been blessed with such.

I got another, "He [Leonard] looks like a young Dustin Hoffman" in response to his photo on The Essential. Came from my supervisor [younger than me], when I lent her the cd set. Response? "Well, it reminds me of the sixties music. It's draggier than what I'm used to listening to"........and this, after I had suggested that she really pay attention to his lyrics, as that's where so much is." Just can't make people hear what they can't hear, at least not too easily :( .
