Thanks for posting these dates.
How come Jarkko doesn't have this information?
I find it really frustrating that I can't come here and get confirmed venues and dates when it seems tickets are already on sale.
Makes me think that the tickets are offered for sale, they see if there's a big uptake, then if there is, the gig's confirmed. If there isn't, it's dropped/postponed.
Without unlimited funds, it's pot luck deciding which ones to book for and which ones are actually going to take place.
I think I'm opting out. The cynicism of this tour has got to me.

except for the German and French dates which were already on sale the days before, all other dates showed up on the net yesterday while Jarkko was in London. We were in contact via sms and he had feedback from the management, that the published dates are confirmed. Since he is off from the internet and busy with meetups and concert he wasn't able to publish the dates on the CohenFiles so far.

I appreciate your post and I appreciate that Jarkko may be elsewhere, but these dates were not just decided yesterday.
There is a thread specifically for Autumn tour dates.
The information should have been there if it was to be of any use to anyone.
How am I to know that Henning is today's source of reliable information?
Rant over, but dissatisfaction with the way the tour dates are announced persists.

Belgrade is not confirmed yet, and according to te published list, it cannot happen on Sept. 30, as LC is then in the middle of Poland. As there are three dates free after Sofia and before Vienna, it's logical place for Belgrade and Ljubljana, before the tour reaches Vienna. But we will see in few days. Nothing yet from the management itself - obviously some dates are still tentative (and with free days) exactly because of those cities and possible extra dates in some cities, if there will be public demand.

Anyhow, I will be on the highway waving to the leonard Cohen tour convoy as they will be passing Zagreb from Sofia and Belgrade to Ljubljana and Vienna :?

Budapest is also gone, I see.

Thanks Tom !

Damellon - I am not the reliable source of information and I will never be. I just summarized what I found on the net and gave the dates to Jarkko on the phone who got this by surprise. I agree with you, there should be more space between the confirmation and the starting of the sales.

please lets 'not shoot the messenger(s)' are they are doing their best !
(p.s. i know of other bands/acts where excactly the same happens - tickets go on sale before the offical announcements etc etc - and i know what it is like to be stuck in the middle, between a rock and hard place)

What about Budapest in the middle of the all?

I think we ought to allowe Jarkko to pop out for a concert now and again really. Thanks Henning for a quick saving summary. It was all i needed (apart from some way of paying for Cardiff, Bournemouth AND Birmingham!!!) Is it possible to overdo it?
