It's not just London there's hundreds on there. Should there not be some kind of system to avoid genuine fans being ripped off.

In theory someone could sign up on eBay with a new account just for this purpose, make a ridiculous bid like £1 million and thereby ruin the auction. Not that I would advocate any spoiling tactics like that.
