Yes, in April and May 2009. It has been mentioned in Mojo, Uncut and couple of threads in this Forum.

What about touring USA?

Is Leonard Cohen mad at Americans?
Why there are no concert dates in the US?'
Not even ONE concert scheduled.

I am constantly checking the tour calendar - so far very disappointing...
Anyone knows the reason?

Sunny greetings from Florida,
Wanda

This has been discussed in several threads here before...
Western Canada and US will get their share after the Pacific, supposing that Leonard decides to extend the tour.
If yes, the schedule will be announced in due course.
So it will be best to wait patiently for the Santa Claus to come.

Some Americans are mad at Americans too...but being a Leonard Cohen fan is not limited by nationality or race....it's that feeling we all get in our hearts and guts when we hear and feel his music...that's what makes Leonard fans a community...irregardless of where we live, and to that I say...Hallelujah!..

P.S. I still want to see him come to America....I'll fly to the West Coast from Florida for a weekend if I have to.

hey guys! we're gonna get even more mad at you if you forget to have a sense of humour (with that extra 'u') !!!!

to be serious, though, having seen him four times in europe this summer i also plan to fly over to the US for at least one of LC's dates... if only to check how the colonies are doing these days

happy christmas!

i can't wait to attend Lennie's San Francisco gig - hopefully somwhere cool and intimate, like some of the places we saw him in europe, like the Warfield or the Great American Music Hall.
