Non-VIP reception

In view of the fact that so many real fans were disappointed as regards the VIP reception, would it not be a nice gesture if we non-VIP people who were scalped on Ebay and who are flying a great distance (in my case Ireland) were treated to a next day reception? We have spent an awful lot of money following the concert around Europe/ Canada so it would be a nice gesture. The tickets could go to those who contribute to the Forum.

I'm travelling over from Ireland specially for the concert - and I agree with jdhayes - does that make me cute too? :D

The post really cracked me up. I actually think it is kind of strange. I don't want to be misunderstood...I'm sure we can meet up and hopefully talk about this strange idea you all have...I guess I just don't think we need anyone to create a reception for us, it's something we can do ourselves, if desired. I mean, that they announced they will try to create some kind of gathering is so, so, nice. I just hope they will let us know in advance so we can also plan other get togethers in addition, if desired. We need to have an idea post. I have some ideas. We do need to plan in advance. I'm blown away by this whole thing actually. I like the way everyone wants to connect. Or is it that you are trying to connect with the band? Is that what you mean by planning a reception? And now, I realize you are acutally suggesting buying a reception ticket!!! Maybe they will sell them through ticketmaster!!! Wonder what the password will be, I hope they have a presale! Just joking!

I was referring to the exhibition of photographs etc. being shown at the VIP reception. Why not have another smaller exhibition next day as well to enable more people to see them and maybe to meet some of the people involved. Meet-ups are separate and are not what I was referring to.

I really feel foolish. But it's fun to laugh at yourself, don't you think! And about my webspace, I recently told some guy, don't let my website scare you, I'm going to change it! Those websites are just for fun. Like here too. I did find a really good site for tracking musicans, jambase.com that's how I found out about this show! Anyhow...Cheers!

I'm amazed and disappointed that more people dont want to see the exhibition. If enough people request it, it might be a runner.
