Pre-meeting on 18th

I think it would be a good idea to have separate threads for pre and post-concert meetups. How about ssuggestions for 18th February on this one?

In case the plane won't crash, I'll be at 7pm at the airport, but I wouldn't mind going straight from the airport somewhere else as long as I would find a place to store my little luggage.

PJClarkes on 63rd and Broadway has been suggested on the other thread for a meetup on 18th February. It sounds good.

It looks like we might be the only ones going??? My flight gets in around 2:30, not sure how long it will take to get to the hotel...are you staying at the Beacon? Maybe I could make it around 5pm. Then again, if we are all going to that place the next night, might be nice to go some place different on the 18th...think about it...if you are staying at the Beacon we could meet in the lobby and just go any place from there...whatever is fine with me! Look forward to meeting you. Are you with the group from Ireland? What is your name?

There are four of us from Ireland and we arrive at around 11 am. We are staying at the Hotel Metro on 35th. The name is Jim. Might see you there .

Would the evening of the 18th be a better time to meet at PJ Clarkes? Maybe 7 or 8 pm? What do people think?

We are going to try to make it, we just don't know what time...
Maybe we could leave a name at the door, like Leonard Cohen Party, that way everyone could find each other...
Maybe some people are coming who are not posting...
It's probably ok to come at a set time for people who can make it, and just anytime for people who don't know their schedule.

Let us arrange to meet at PJClarkes at around 8pm on the 18th March. We can ask a bartender about arranging an LC corner. Hope to see you all. We are landing around midday, all going well.

Im traveling from Galway to Dublin on Wednesday. My flight gets into JFK at 18.40 so,by the time I get sorted, it could be 8 or 9 .Looking forward to seeing old and new faces.I was never in New York before,cant believe im going straigh to a Irish bar.....HAPPY DAYS.
