I need to remember to punch in best available seats - if I ever have to do this again. When you start at the specific ticket prices and it says no more available, it seems like you have to back up and start the process over again and you are not in the line any more. I had to back up twice today for the Red Rock show and then I finally got the tickets further back than I had wanted but still in the front section. After I bought them I went back and punched in best available to see what might happen and it came up with seats closer to the stage than what I had and in once of the price ranges that I had earlier been told none available.
Maybe someone who was on line decided not to by them but it was a bit frustrating after purchasing the tickets to have some closer - but not that much closer to the front.
I guess I should just be happy that I can spend the bucks to see Leonard again - and that he is still touring.

Now I am wondering if more concerts might be announced and since I have tickets already for Denver if I could have gotten better seats by waiting.

Yeah, I just tried that for Seattle and was offered seats 3 rows in front of what I bought this morning at the same price.

I have only gone to general admission indie shows, or local stuff where you walk up to the box office, so this online purchasing was very foreign to me and I wish I had it to do over again but hell I'll be in the room so YAY!

For the Philadelphia show, it had the option to actually manually select which seats you were purchasing. It was pretty amazing, but I found that out after I had specified the cheapest section (the Beacon Theatre show drained my recreational spending). Nonetheless, I luckily ended up with front row seats in the third tier balcony (exactly where I wanted to be).

It depends on where you want to sit. The program TM uses likes to fill up the center first -- okay, best accoustics, yes, but if you are short, you're better off getting closer seats on the side. In small venues. In big venues, I always use specific areas, because I'd rather be in loge close to the stage, than on the floor where I can't see a thing. I'm the one who always gets the giant wearing the big hat in front of me -- truly annoying!
