AUSTIN IS SOLD OUT (latest info)

I posted earlier about the Austin public sale, saying it sold out in 10 minutes. I might have been wrong. I checked a few minutes ago and there seemed to be 2 VIP tickets left. For someone with $1100 to spend to see a show, there may still be a chance.

AUSTIN IS SOLD OUT.
(If one or two VIP tickets are showing up, that does not mean that there are other seats available - they all are gone/update!)

I guess it's just one of those mysteries of online ticket sales that I don't understand, because the direct link from the long center website shows "none available" for all classes except VIP and when I entered 2, it offered to check me out with two VIP tickets on row A. I didn't try to purchase so I don't know what would have happened if I did. That was at 3:00 pm Austin time.

However, I assume Jarrko deals directly with actual humans who know the facts and so the show is sold out.

Many thanks.

I bought two VIP tickets in Row B last night at around 11.15PM CST--it was difficult to get them, as the page repeatedly told me that there were no tickets left. I stubbornly kept reloading and was surprised when two seats popped up. Cannot wait for the show!

Still VIP tickets for Austin

As of 3:50 PM CST Saturday 2/27 there were at least 4 VIP tickets available in the Center Orchestra Row G.

If you can spare the $550 per ticket, go get 'em!

Last night I got two, dead center seats in the second row. I am thrilled!

The Eyes of Texas will be on Leonard Cohen on April 2nd. :D

Am I the only one who thinks $89 for the cheapest seats and $550 for the most expensive is more than a little outrageous?!???

The website showed that the show was sold out earlier today, but at least 2 VIP seats are open now. . .

I understand that a second performance has been added for April 1 (Hope this is not an April Fool's joke) and that presale would be offered to members here. Anyone have further info?

Thanks,
GeoC

Austin's Long Center's website says that you can get free parking at the Hyatt Hotel across the street, providing you buy a drink at the hotel's bar, show your Leonard Cohen stub, and get your parking ticket validated.
Sounds like a meetup to me !

(And could Leonard Himself be staying the night at the Hyatt, and perhaps stopping in for a drinky-poo too? )

Driving into Austin from Mexico for the concert. If there is a meetup, we would love to be there.
