She told me You said
We could travel through sin
So I let go of strings
That I am so tangled in

Regarding Jack Lazariuk, Geoffrey I venture to say that the 'ladies' on this Forum are very nice to Jack also. Perhaps we (there's that 'we' again!) feel safe with him; he calls a spade a spade, and he can be playful, but he's kind as well as smart, which is a lovely thing in a man.
Anyone care to comment?

I met Jack in a poem once, there’s not a lot of people you say that about.
His name suites him well, he’s a great story teller, does some pretty good slight of hand, writes a bit of poetry and is a bit sneaky in some of them, he makes great wine and even better company for drinking wine with. As Sheila mentioned he’s playful, kind and smart (very smart), he’s also an excellent cook and can rid your brow of a small line without using botox. He is considerate and humble (and is probably feeling a bit uncomfortable right now if he’s reading this). He is somebody that you are safe with, somebody that you can feel calm and relaxed around and sit very quietly with. That being said he is also a man of great intensity. He is passionate about a great many subjects, but he doesn’t speak at you, he speaks with you, making sure you get what he’s saying reframing when you’re not. When you speak, you feel that you are being heard. He’ll bring you back to things that you’ve said and ask you questions that you hadn’t really thought about before. I’m very fond of Jack but I don’t consider him a forum friend, I just consider him a friend and one that I am very pleased to have.

Catherine

I wish my brain wasn't so tired and I could think of an appropriate short poem, I tried but nothing worthwhile came so I put one of my favourite Jack short poem up.
Ahhh... I realized why I thought of the above short, it reminds of the current Book of Mercy thread

Cate, (how can you still be awake?), that is a lovely tribute to Jack. It will surely bring him a smile if he's listening.

Goodnight sweet-hearted lady.

I'm a bit nervious about something happening tomorrow, I don't think I'll be able to sleep, the above was a good distraction.

Good Night Sheila

Hello Cate, I was thinking that sometimes being nervous makes an event even better. I can be nervous with excitement or nervous through fear. Most of the time these things come to a happy ending, sometimes a sticky ending but I can look back on the nerves and think "well, I did it". When it works out well then I normally decide to do it again as soon as I have the chance! Anyway, I know this is not very profound but just wanted to acknowledge what you said
