I am just wondering is there any chance for a concert in the Balkans or at least in Greece?

Unfortunately we have today been informed by the tour management that the answer to this question is NO.
Athens has been removed from the tentative itinerary, and Tel Aviv has been added.
Bratislava will happen and began with the pre-sale today.

Why?!! No, no, no! I don't even know what to say... that was all I was still hoping for this year.

What a disappointing news

Is this definite or we can hope a little bit more

Obviously definitive as until this morning we still hoped for Budapest and Belgrade, and even Skopje was mentioned.
Now, time to buy a ticket for Venezia (August 3rd). Sadly Wien was also dropped.

Poorer nations don't count in the music biz/money making machine. It's all about profit.
Mr Cohen and his management would rather play to fat cats in Monaco or at a shrine to consumerism -Mercedes Benz World in the richest county in the UK.
I will be celebrating those gigs by freely distributing copies of Mr Cohen's music to friends and neighbours.

Actually the latest changes have nothing to do with the location of the cities that got removed - the tour is just getting extended (Tel Aviv being the first "new" date after the last concert previously announced), and they need to have a break of some 10 days. The European tour will be launched on July 1 and they cannot continue at full speed for three months without a break.

Being lenient, the tour schedule is at least disappointing for a big part of Europe.

But only over Hungary? That really doesn't sound like a very fair distribution of the sun!

The tour management has added a concert in Budapest, at the Arena, August 31.
Our pre-sale begins next Monday at 10 am Hungarian time. See the separate thread for link.

Good news for Budapest but I was hoping for something closer and easier to reach...Seems that Balkans are still underestimated even when it comes for concerts...Pitty

There's also concert in Wiesen in Burgenland/Gradisce, Austria, August 26, and Prague, and Bratislava... I guess it's the closest we will get, plus Budapest.
