Thanks everyone for lists so far, which are all very interesting. I foun that the hardest albums to choose tracks from were "Songs of Love and Hate" and "Recent Songs" . Alternative options for me were "Sing Another Song Boys" and "The Window". "Ten New Songs" was difficult too...so many good songs there..."That Don't Make It Junk", "Love Itself", "A Thousand Kisses Deep" etc etc.

For "I'm Your Man" I was torn between "Take This Waltz" and "I Can't Forget" (both would be in my all-time LC top ten). It's good to see that several people like "Sing Another Song Boys" best on SOL&H. I've always considered it to be a very underrated song.

This is interesting. I'm pleasantly surprised that Take This Waltz seems to be a favourite of most - it is in my top three or four all time favourite songs but I wondered if many others appreciated it. I lived in Vienna as a young university student in the early 1990s, this song was a favourite then, particularly on our frequent runs to Budapest, Bratislava and Moscow, it just seemed too perfect.

I found SOLAH especially hard to isolate one song from as it should be a whole, perhaps more so than any of the others. Recent Songs was tough too, even now I'm still wavering between The Window and The Traitor. They're all difficult choices, but it's interesting to think about what your 'Desert Island Cohen' would be, if you had to pick...
