Hi!

Post by dontforgetme »

Hi!

I am new to this forum so I thought I would say Hi!

I have been a LC fan since 1971 when I used to go to a disco called Dennys in Exmouth, Devon.

I danced regulary with a young lady who always requested Suzanne to dance to. I got hooked on LC then, though I lost the young lady. :(

If she is on this site she can always send me a PM to say Hi!

Hi dontforgetme ~

Is your moniker just in case she is here  ? That repeated scenario had to make an impression on you. Well, yes, I've already seen that "Suzanne" has survived as your favourite. With my memory of discos here, if yours in Scotland were anything similar, "Suzanne" brought a lot of emotional timbre to the dance floor. Is your favourite poem, "Marita"? :)

Welcome to the Forum! It would be wonderful if you actually did come across this lady with the excellent taste so many years later! Even if you don't, there are many great people here worth sticking around for. If you could manage it, you could come to the Leonard Cohen Event 2004 in N.Y.C. [June 11-13]. You can read more about it in the News section here, as well as back on Jarkko's main page, via the link provided there. I'm not sure how you came in, but you can get to there via the link at the top of this page.

Hello Bill, and welcome to the forum. Sorry but I'm not the lady from your past! There are, however, plenty of us here who share your taste. I hope you will enjoy taking part in our discussions
