Leonard's October 19th concert has been moved from St. Pete Times Forum to the more intimate Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center (TBPAC).
The TBPAC offers fans a special opportunity to get up close and experience the concert in a more personal setting.

After this change of venue the Tampa concert is back where it originally was supposed to be! Our members who reserved tickets at our pre-sale will be able to get as
close to the same location as they had before. More details will be posted here soon! Our contacts at AEG have promised to pay special attention to our
pre-sale ticket holders.

Ticketholders who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster.com or Ticketmaster charge-by-phone will automatically be assigned comparable seats and will receive an
email or phone call with detailed instructions to obtain the new tickets.

Fans that purchased through the St. Pete Times Forum Box Office or at a Ticketmaster Retail Outlet will need to return to the point-of-purchase for an exchange.
After Friday, October 16th, all ticket exchanges will be handled by the TBPAC box office, while refunds will still be available at point of purchase.

This is wonderful news! After following the seat change thread, I am sure everyone going to the Tampa concert will be ecstatic with the change in venue and the fact that their seats will be comparable to their original seats. I am so happy for them!

Another example of how caring LC, his entourage, and management are of the fans. Thank you to all involved with this new arrangement.

Best regards,
Mary

This is good news--a much better venue for the show!

It might be a good idea for everyone that bought through the Ticketmaster presale to keep a close eye on your credit card account. I just got an email alert that a pending transaction from TM was applied to my account. It's for $4 less than the total of my LC tickets purchased in August. I assume it has something to do with the venue change.

Since it's only a pending transaction I'm going to give it a day to see if it expires without being charged to my account. I figure if I call TM now they might do something stupid like cancel my original ticket order.

Okay, Now I am concerned because I spoke with Ticketmasters today because I have recieved mixed messages on my tickets. After the venue was downsized and I recieved new seats I was told that I would recieve my tickets through the mail. They never came so I called Ticketmasters today and was told that they would be will call because the total was greater than $500.00. Which is how they were in the beginning before the venue downsized. Now the whole concert has been changed to a new venue. When I log into My ticketmasters to view order details I cannot get any information. I did purchase my tickets through the forum presale I live in Michigan and will be leaving for Florida on October 9th so I am hoping to understand the recent changes and have some validation on my tickets. Any answers out there or suggestions?

Hopefully you're not getting anything at this point because of the venue change and it is being sorted out by TM and it takes some time to get it done?

Thank you Mary for some reassuring information. I logged on to the AEG site just to see what was going on there. They have the concert listed at the TBPAC on October 19th in the Carol Morsani Hall. It also states tickets now on sale starting at $19.96???? That has to be the seats in the rafters. I will try and be patient and see where I end up for the third time. Considering I started out in Row 3 I hope my new seats will be an even exchange. I do not want to get to Tampa and find I do not have a seat!!!

You lucky people. I wish the show where I will be attending would be changed from an arena to an arts center.

Hi Donalagata ~

This is the best change we could have possibly hoped for [and already were, hoping beyond hope... well, there you have it, the operative word ~ HOPE!] ~ I'm delighted by this development. It is going to be soooooooooooooo much better! I was, of course, happy to just be seeing Leonard, but still felt a bit like my last time seeing him on this tour was going to be in a gymnasium  . Now, it's the theatre that he deserves :D 8) :D .

I hope all goes well with your ticket. When I called TM to confirm on my ticket with the last change, I specifically asked about mailing/pick-up at venue. They said that since I was content with the change, I could just pick it up at the venue OR have it mailed [my choice]. So, you may want to call and specify that, given your travel plans, would it be possible to do that. I would HOPE that that's still an option. If push comes to shove, and they MUST mail them to you :? ... you might want to have them mail them to me, instead. That's my best Plan B for now. Then, we'll meet up before the concert.

Since I got the $250 ticket, I'm not worried about where my seat will be. Their idea of equivalent on it will be at least as good as I had I'm sure. I'm sure yours will be, too.

Just another Big YAAAAY!!! Wait til our local, Tampa guy, Brysburg, reads this! Maybe Jennifer will end up right back where she had wanted and thought she would be in proximity to Leonard, too 8) !

From AEG:
On the fan club pre sale tickets – we will have TM ship those tickets out to the Forum members ahead of time. This will be the only market on the tour that does not have forced will call. Any overseas sales for this show will have to remain will call.

This seems to be a courtesy-to-the-customer arrangement, rather than the only option, however. From the way my interactions went with Ticketmaster, it seemed that I had a choice. Mail or pick-up. When it says it "does not have forced will call" ~ the emphasis to me is on "forced" ~ i.e. the arrangement that was intended to preclude scalpers... and so they can now have them mailed to them, if they like. However, pick-up still remains an option.

Now... if overseas people have to remain will call, the emphasis is, again, on "have to" ~ so they do not have a choice on mail or pick-up. I truly believe that we will still be ABLE to do pick-up, if we choose. I'm certainly hoping that the tickets will end up at the correct venue for pick-up, too  .

If I'm reading all this wrong, my interpretation on it here represents exactly how it turned out for me when they changed my seat.

Call them and see what they say, Donalagata. I truly believe you'll find they'll be fine with your picking up your tickets at the theatre box office.

Updated ticketing link to Tampa for NEW buyers: http://tickets.tbpac.org/calendar/view.asp?id=6278

If our pre-sale ticket holders have any problems, please send me email, and I will forward to AEG. They promised to help if the transfer is not going smoothly!

I had my two pre-sale tickets for this show reassigned by TM on September 17. Now I'd rather take advantage of the option of having the new (aka version 3.0) tickets mailed to me. How do I let TM/AEG know that I'd want my tickets shipped and not held for pick-up?

Thanks again for keeping us well posted Jarkko and Co. :)

***Make a phone call to TM. Jarkko***

Thanks Jarkko, but no need for that as I got another email from TM today, with my re-re-assigned seat numbers stating that if I do not reply to their email (or contact them) the tickets will be shipped to me.
