Not sure how to use this site .. but does anyone know if Leonard Cohen will be returning to the US to do more concerts?

Don't get your hopes up. The 2010 World Tour is supposed to hit cities where Leonard has not been before, and I "think" that at the moment, no US cities are included. However, that is not to say that they won't be! Things change...happen.

One rumour is the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Like all of us, you will have to simply be patient and wait and see what is announced. Pretty sure there may be some cities in eastern Canada....might want to keep your eyes open for those!

I also noticed the artist TBA is the same weekend as Lionel Richie. Dino could do double duty!

Leonard recently completed his US tour. Next he is going to "new" countries not yet visited (and also to some he has already done, earlier)

Well, according to official sources (can't divulge them, sorry) perhaps he will go back to Canada, but there again, perhaps he won't.

This thread pertains to the US and after Jarkko's definitive comment, should become inactive.

Perhaps we shoud start a "Will LC return to Canada to give more concerts??" thread. The short answer is, YES. According to Robert Kory at the Fairmont Hotel following the San Jose "final" concert, LC wants to go back to Eastern Canada. Perhaps because that's where he first started off the world tour in May, 2008 with tentative feelings that anyone would remember him after his long absence and would want to see him perform at all.

According to an article I read a while ago, the Toronto concerts in June 2008 were considered the official world tour opening when the Press was first officially invited. How so very generous of LC to want to go back to give the Eastern Canadians an opportunity to see how his concerts have evolved because of their love, acceptance and encouragement.

- The complete itinerary for 2010 is still in progress, so people in Eastern Canada should remain calm and practice patience!
