can anyone tell what's the recent update about, in the Jarkko topic "The Tour 2010 Dates (
updated Dec 25)"

I was hoping for new tour dates

Why such a question? Just when you click on the thread: The 2010 Tour Dates (updated Dec 25)
and find out what's new. The lock is there to ensure that nobody could write anything, just Jarkko. They can all read.

I had put Bratislava back to March 13 and removed Ljubljana for the time being (until we get more information). The date in the subject line will be updated every time I make any changes to the message itself.

I presume forum member drsing opened the 2010 Tour Dates thread and, as I, did not immediately spot anything new, updated or changed.. the change was probably too minor to be noticed right away. (Although a great thanks to Jarkko ofcourse for keeping us updated in this time of year!) And we all know what a lock is for.. so there's no need to explain that in a haughty reply, implying one does not know how a forum works.
Thanks drsing for asking his question and jarkko for answering! As I said, I also wondered what had been updated.. no need to wonder anymore.

I'm not saying that this was not good, I just thought that when more fibers similar tour in 2010, so I will not really have an overview of where to find information.
We do not write that, nobody knows what is lock, what to do and what not.

Why word of aggression? I politely wrote your post, nothing more.
I apologize if it offended you.

The disadvantage of speaking in a language not your native own. What word choices to make, placed where and how and with what in between... the differences in impressions they give. Of course, you're not haughty or aggressive, LEONKA [I can't speak to "fiery"

... that would come upon meeting you], and were trying to help, maybe only not understanding the reason for the question. [And anyone new to forums wouldn't necessarily have full understanding of all terms.] When I read the posting last night, I wondered, too... so am glad to see Jarkko's clarification.

Lizzy,
word of the fire, I agree, because for us, that is ambitious and wants, it's nice, but I disagree with a word, aggressive-rude, it means bad.
My contribution not think bad. I wrote only where he finds the answer what he asked.
Oh yeah.
I have nothing against what drsing ask.

I expect the reply was a victim of mistranslation! Also we are all in this forum for the same thing - we are anxious not to miss a new announcement of a show and the opportunity to get the best tickets! Impatience means that we don't always choose our words wisely.

Mistranslation and the absence of the usual signals that proper conversation gives! The internet is notorious for it!!

Dear Leonka,
I just want to say that I think you indeed have "fire" in you! Fire for Leonard and his words and music! I admire you very much as I know English is not your first language but you have the courage to say what is in your heart. Perhaps because I am also a woman I somehow understand what you are saying and how you try to express yourself. It is beautiful, and I hope one day to be able to meet you!
Warm feelings from my heart to yours (Warm regards),
Diana

It is indeed not obvious to comprehend every word or sentence or expression of a language that is not yours or to exress your thoughts and feelings in that language.
Some criticism on that point might prevent other non-native speakers, less courageous than Leonka, from expressing themselves on this forum.
Leonka,
You are a very enthusiastic and warm and compassionate person. Don't feel hurted by some rather improper criticizing words and go on with your "fiery" posts.
And I'm very happy for you that you finally got your concert ticket, I guess one of your wishes for 2010 has already come true !
