Sharon on cover of Spanish Standdart magazine

Post by MarieM »

Sharon has twittered the following: "Standdart magazine (Spain) (http://standdart.com) has graciously put me on the cover. New pics inside with Leonard Cohen."

The pictures of Sharon are just beautiful too.

The article (in Spanish) appears to be about 8 pages long (including photographs). I wish there were some way to copy it - and then translate it to English. The magazine online is in a flash format - and I can't figure out how to copy it.

Marie, thank you for sharing this with us! The photos of Sharon are SO beautiful and it frustrates me that I never learned Spanish outside of asking for directions! Would be interesting to read a translation.

In this interview, Sharon Robinson talks about his album and the tour of Spain.

"Please, sir, I want some more."

Thanks for the pictures! They are apparently taken by Lorca Cohen, Greg Gold and Lori Stoll.

Any chance of a copy of the actual article (pages 26 through 33) by Hugo Izarra as well, in a format that can be subjected to the jaws of "Google Translate."

The trick, of course, is that one has to say the right thing.

I don't know a practical way to change flash to text. (The OCR route is, by my definition at least, impractical).

Sorry

Like - - - - "Please."

Anyway - thanks for confirming that it is not an easy thing to do. I have tried anything I can think of - including saying "SHAZAM" - but to no avail.

What a shame - the article extends from page 26 through page 33. Granted, a couple of the pages are mostly composed of pictures - but there is a lengthy article there!

I got all the pages with text into pdf form and uploaded on my site but the text feature is not working so we are no farther along really. I know there is a program that will convert pdf to text but I don't have it.
