I am going to see this guy at a concert in Copenhagen on the 28. th of may. My son has recommanded him, he thinks it's pure Cohen. Try this link and listen to some of his music. http://www.joshritter.com/v2/news.php
Enjoy

Yes, he's very good. I saw him in January when he was the supporting act for/and protege of Joan Baez. He sings mostly his own material solo with just an accoustic guitar.
It looks like you did Paula She was here for months and appeared on a few folk music TV programs too. Try her website for any future tours. She must have a website!
Cia, he really is very good and has a beautiful song call Wings which Joan Baez covers on her new album 'Dark Chords On A Big Guitar. I would say that he is unique as Leonard Cohen is but would not make any other comparisons. When it comes to musical poetry he can't be matched.
I saw Josh Ritter in Berlin this year doing support for Damien Rice. He was a cute guy beeing really funny, no wonder as he has such great curley hairs. I loved his performance a lot more than Rice. I didn't hear anything that resembles Leonards music, he is on his own track and that's for good.
Josh Ritter was cool and he played a nice version of "Chelsea Hotel". But true enough, this guy is not lenny and never will be, and it certainly isn't his intension to be either.
