audcal - this is an absolutely beautiful cover and interpretation enhanced by his voice. Plus, we have the bonus of Julie Christensen as backup singer. I couldn't see the other singer, but based on the harmonies, it does sound like Perla Batala. Thank you for this link.

Teddy has an amazing voice. I saw him a few times live here in Dublin. His album Separate Ways is one of my fave albums.

TT's finest LC cover imo was his Waiting for the Miracle at the Wilner tribute. Unfortunately it was never officially recorded. He does have a great voice.

Ah, bless your heart Bernadine and thank you. I do have the CD and DVD but did not remember Teddy Thompson was on these until you pointed it out. I watched/listened to these once and filed them away, always falling back on the original source.

so glad you liked it and your right it was PB. Seen them in the came so far for beauty concert in the point in Dublin a few years ago. It was pretty amazing. Not as amazing as LC but he wasnt touring at the time so it came pretty close. Anyway glad you like it. take care
