Does anyone know if Leonard signs autographs or does he ever meet his fans personally? My girlfriend has been a fan of Leonards for over 40 years and it is a life long dream to meet him. So are we dreaming or can this happen. Nver been to one of his concerts.
Another question. Where is the meetup on the 11th?
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan ~
Leonard does NOT meet with his fans. Pure serendipity, luck, chance... whichever word is chosen will result in a 'meet up' with Leonard, wherein he'll most likely be somewhere outside on the street, or enroute to/from his hotel room [generally has been sighted in various hotel lobbies]. All is purely unarranged. So far, it seems our Marie from Ireland [IrishMar] has the highest success rate for chance run-ins with Leonard. I wish your girlfriend and you similar luck, but don't be disappointed if it doesn't happen. The odds are BY FAR that you won't see Leonard anywhere other than the stage.

Hi Dan,
here's a link to the World Tour 2010 Meetups: viewforum.php?f=50
I hope this helps.

Edit: I am sure if you will be at Caesars Palace Buffet at 5:30 you will see people wearing lanyards. It's close to the venue.
We will be there on Friday and on Saturday too - provided that our flight will not be cancelled.

Well, apart from the Green Note Café in October 2007 ... when he delighted us all by honouring us with his presence ... a very special daylizzytysh wrote:Leonard does NOT meet with his fans.

Hi Hydriot ~
That was not a "meet-up' but a stop-by, totally unbeknownst to the fans gathered. It was also JUST prior to Leonard's going for onstage conversation with Philip Glass and the host regarding Philip's production based on Leonard's book of poems.
Totally differnt from these tours, where he doesn't just drop by fan gatherings prior to or after performances. Your posting could easily lead to false hope for laredo and his girlfriend. Any chance encounter with Leonard now is as much a miracle as this tour has been. Even at the Green Note Cafe, he didn't stay long, considering the number of fans who were gathered.
You're sure right that it was a wondrous time for all who were there, though
