We thought that love was a runaway train…well I know
No destination every station the same…well I know
Couldn’t get enough then – we wanted more
Locked together - in a love chain that’s for sure

We hopped a train - cause we just couldn’t wait…well I know
Tickets not clipped - and at the wrong gate…well I know
We were so in love then - wild and free
Blinded by tunnels - we couldn’t see

Carriages shaking - we were almost derailed…well I know
We held on tight - thought our wheels couldn’t fail…well I know
Ignored all signals - and stop signs
Heading for the buffers - down the line

We thought that love was a runaway train…well I know
No destination – all our station’s in vain…well I know
Couldn’t take those love strains anymore
We had to jump our love train that’s for sure
