Dear Heather Review

Hi all~
Just wanted to let you know that "Dear Heather" is reviewed today in Norway's second largest newspaper.
Two whole pages are devoted to the "dark master of melancholy", as they dub him.
The album gets 6 out of 6 possible
, and the reporter calls it the best album since "I'm your man".
The piece is not terribbly well-written, but hey - he gets some publicity!

i'd imagine Cohen has quite a strong cult following in Scandinavia. Scandinavians have a taste for the melencholic and the deep.

That might be it, Cold Brains, but I've never quite figured out how Norwegian people judge quality..
In the 80s and 90s, you see, other international artists that had huge sales here include Bonnie Tyler and Smokie

tell me a bit about yourselves guys
im a guy from Malta btw. For those who haven't ever heard of Malta.. its a small island in the middle of the mediterranean sea, south of Italy, North of Tunisia, close to half a million in population. Great climate we got over here, not too many opportunities except if ure a medic or a lawyer or carry a briefcase. cos of its size it gets a tad claustrophobic time and time again. Oh well, got used to it by now, cant complain. I'm genuinely interested in art and communication.. music, literature, photograpohy, writing. I'm still studying and im hoping that in the very near future my financial standing will allow me to travel and mingle with ppl of different cultures. In the meantime i'm indulging in the pleasures of music. Music of the likes of cohen, beck and brooding music that has an electronic tinge to it.
i'm trying my best to read all the stuff that has been posted in these fora, and it is time consuming, but rewarding.. and gratifying. Also, there seems to be a sense of belonging here, and some real interesting people.
