.. thank you both, so much (!) I'm shocked to say.. [as I just finished my pastry creme a short while ago].. [did all the sieving and folding, in other words].. anyway, it turned out pretty amazing. [???].. I mean, I have no idea what an "expert" would say, but.. I mean, it's light, and lovely.. and sort of scrumptious tasting.. so.. I am very happy with that end of things. Now for the, uh, "crepe" part.

.. I.F., I love the imagery in that song.. the violets and furs, of course.. but also the snow drifting down on the flowers, melting where it lay..

.. and that blue in the wintry sky..

.. just a lovely poem of a song.. [and yes, that has me sighing.. and longing.. ]..

.. in France they shun pancake, preferring instead crepe makeup. [it's for that yellow batter-ie look] [so popular now on the Riviera]

.. actually, I quite like hounds, but.. [given my recent revelations about primates].. I think I'll pass on baboons. [although balloons are another good way to get high--and for cheap] [in case you're looking for one, fish].. [I know, I told Cate not to encourage you earlier, but I couldn't think of anything else to say about balloons]

.. I do feel unknown to birds and butterflies somehow..

.. I just thought of a flower blooming in the dark. I guess I sometimes feel like that. Oh, and now I see that as seeming somehow sexual, but that's not what I was thinking. It's more my working on my own.. and in that sense, in the dark. It's in some ways a blessing, but in some ways a trial, I guess.

.. thanks kwills (!).. It's nice to hear from you, whatever the timing. Just remember, though.. [now that I know what you look like].. when reach your teenage years, you may have the urge to shred every human around you to itty bitty bloody bits. However, this should not concern you as this is normal behavior, kwills--for a primate, that is. So, don't think you're screwed up or anything, as that wouldn't be the case at all.
