Sad to hear that she is still (or once again) struggling. I saw her in concert in Bristol last month and she was superb. She seemed well enough that night but I guess there is a very fine line between the edge she needs to perform at her best and the abyss of mental illness.

Great to hear it was a good concert Wendy. I got tickets for her show here in July. She has such a great voice.
Its a small theater so am looking forward to it.

She is scheduled to appear on the new series of Later...with Jools Holland on BBC2 next Tuesday 1st May (live) and the recorded show on Friday 4th May. Here's hoping.

I didn't know Sinead suffered from bipolar disease. It must be so difficult for her, and for those close to her. I hope she gets better and takes good care of herself. She needs to put herself and her health first. I know so painfully well how bad it is to pretend to be stronger than we really are and take on a lot responsibilites we can't really cope with. I can really relate to her in that sense.

I made a note of her Jools Holland scheduled appearance, Dave, when you mentioned it, but it was not to be. I hope you get to see her, Leslie, if not this year, then another time. I hope I do, also - one of the people I have never seen but would like to.

May she be well.
