Out-takes

Post by Jonnie Falafel »

I know this is a little premature and I'm sorry to raise it, but the shots of the notebooks and the alternative track-lsit probably mean that much more was recorded. I mean Thanks for the Dance & Puppets are lsited! LC, if you're listening please consider unleashing these? And if you are listening how about a tour of just new material - fantasies of solo Crazy to Love You and Thanks for the Dance are arising. Sorry I'm just excited. The new record sounds so familiar and paradoxicaly so new - so incredibly Cohenesque and unexpected.

According to the interview in Mojo, Thanks For The Dance could be on the next record. Off the top of my head it also mentions The Street, Born In Chains, Wither Thou Goest and a song called The Treaty as being worked on for possible inclusion of either Old Ideas or the next record. The interview is well worth a read if you're in the UK. Hopefully someone can post some of it up on here

Thanks for that information. I did notice the title "Treaty" at the top of the scribbled alternative track listing.
