...The Flaming Lips have long promised to release “blood vinyl” copies of their new collaborative record The Flaming Lips And Heavy Fwends. These copies of the album will include real, actual human blood from the band, as well as from collaborators like Ke$ha, Erykah Badu, Nick Cave, Chris Martin, and others. And now Wayne Coyne has Tweeted that copies will go on sale at the end of the week. A couple of catches, though: The blood-vinyl edition goes for $2,500, and only 10 copies will be made.
