If you could bring a dead rock star back to life for one gig, who would it be?
John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Buddy Holly, Freddie Mercury? Or someone else?

Stan Rogers. Not a 'rock star' though.

Hmmm hard choice from this list but it would be between John Lennon and Freddie Mercury for me. He isn't a rock star but I would love to have heard John Denver in concert too.

Oh Tony, yes - what a great suggestion. I'd have him play with Garnet, just like the old days.
Off to listen to "Home in Halifax" again now .....

Jimi Hendrix. I would love to see him make love to his guitar; err, i mean play his guitar live.

Hi,
John Lennon, not for a gig but for the answer to this question: Is there or is there not a heaven? (He asked us to
imagine that there is not a heaven.)

Have to be John - So Clever And Classless And Free - Was going to call my son Lennon, but then that Gallagher boy used it, so I called him Cohen -
I think John would decline the invitation though so I'd invite Ian Curtis

Janis Joplin would be a good choice. And if Leonard Cohen still wanted to apologize to her for spilling the backstory on "Chelsea Hotel No. 2" he would have the opportunity to do so. Although if it's just for the one gig, I guess we'd have to arrange for a front-row seat for him.

No rock star, but... The problem here would be finding a place big enough for all the people who would come.
Bruddah Iz. Israel Kamakawiwoʻole.
