First edition book, signed, deluxe issue of Stranger Music

First edition, limited print "Stranger Music: Selected Poems and Songs" (published -Toronto: McClelland & Stewart, 1993). The deluxe issue, #55 of 125 copies signed by Leonard Cohen on a deckle edge laid paper printed leaf. Specially bound in plain black cloth with Cohen's facsimile signature in gilt on front cover, marbled endpapers, bound-in ribbon marker. Laid into a large (34 x 25 cm) black cloth clamshell box with pictorial cover label and gilt signature on the front, the book laid into a recess inside, opposite to which is a black cloth ribbon-tied portfolio containing three colour litho reproductions of Leonard Cohen paintings/watercolours (separated by tissue guards, one image repeated on the front cover, the whole fitting into a slot), the interior lined with marbled paper. Beautiful rare collectors edition, as new condition. $4,500 Canadian (firm). Photos available on request.
