Thanks for the enjoyable links. I find myself noticing the better condition of Willie's guitar when viewing
older clips such as these. He's stayed loyal to that trussed up guitar of his. He has held up better than his
guitar. Willie Nelson and his guitar remain cultural treasures. The guitar work is masterful. Not
surprised that Kris Kristofferson made the comments that you heard or read. Willie Nelson has written
(and been quoted) about the influence that Django Reinhardt had on him.

Glad you enjoyed the links. It is actually pretty amazing he has held up so well given his well known predilection to certain parts of hemp. Kris Kristofferson was probably the first of the Texas singer songwriters I started listening to thanks to a compilation album 'Kristofferson' that belonged to my sister.
