The 2 cd version might be of interest even to casual dylan fans and is priced at £16 in the uk
The 6 cd version will only be of interest to mildly obsessive dylan fans and the release price of £110 is set at a level that those obsessed enough to be unable to wait might pay.... but it will reduce in price significantly not long after release .
The 18 cd version is for extremely , almost pathologically, obsessed dylan fans and is only available by mail order from sony in the usa for $599
which doesn't include taxes or shipping ! Since this is a limited edition release some people are wondering whether it might be a smart financial investment increasing in value more than most investments( i doubt it)
I might get the 6cd set if it comes down in price

I agree with cohenadmirer, you would have to be one of the die hard fans to want to get the 18disc version!
