Hi Kush,
You're welcome. Agreed that it is a great song. It tells a story quickly, the kind that isn't
commonly found in what is called country music today. Largely gone are mature life situations.
Airplay mostly goes to songs with appeal to teenage girls; they very much drive the market.
More people than will admit to it can relate to the song, particularly men past their teenage years.

There are enough songs for all of us in this world, including teenage girls
. I may agree with you that the songs that appeal to more mature audiences do not get airplay very much and may not appeal to most teenage girls (and teenage boys as well) very much either and nor should they !
