norwegian translations have yet to appear. neither bokmål nor nynorsk are available, and not danish (very close to norwegian) either. a while ago my quota of patience became exhausted, so i ordered and received an english edition from great britain, thus avoiding further frustration. the reason for such a lengthy delay is unfathomable; a translation, even by my own hand, could be achieved in next to no time. many norwegians are reasonably competent in english, several shelves in most local bookshops are devoted to english volumes - so why not sell 'the flame' here in its original language? well, what is happening down in oslo i know not, but up here on the west coast one could be excused for being ignorant of the book's existence.

Twin volumes (his translation of The Flame + Book of Longing, translated by Peter Trizna)
should be out by the end of summer.
If everything goes well, September would be the time for distribution.
