A Garden.

A Garden.
The garden I've been tending,
I watched it lose its shape -
Once or twice I've tried my share
to trim the growing grass -
But then I just surrendered,
learned to appreciate
the beauty of its wilderness -
That's when I stopped to care;
Now that you try with force to fix
what has no need to mend,
I cannot but to step aside-
The view you seek is lent -
For I am now this wilderness,
the woods wherein you yelled -
And I myself long gave it up
to tend those untamed reeds-
So why don't you submit unto
the beauty of those weeds?
The garden we've been tending,
it grew to something else. -
And since it is a wilderness,
let's relish in its depths.
