Newly released covers of Take This Waltz and Everybody Knows. We very much hope you enjoy this. My daughter is the vocalist and is largely responsible for the creative direction of the entire project.

Pre-release is available to purchase on iTunes/Apple Music and Amazon (full album releases everywhere else April 30, including CD, which is worth the price if you are 'old school' enough as it's a lovely design based on vintage vinyl).

Take This Waltz is available as of today. We feel it's the standout track on the project, closely followed by Everybody Knows and Film Noir Dream.

This project is complete and in production. Plan is to release "Take This Waltz" a couple weeks in advance on iTunes, if the project clears final process on time. Here is the finalized art (track list and a bit more info in following post).

Two Leonard tracks on the album among a bunch of old Jazz standards and a single original track (but the whole project fits together pretty well due to arrangements by Michael Kelsey).

We do feel that two of the standout tracks are Take This Waltz and Everybody Knows. We think Leonard fans will enjoy these two versions.

I'll post again when it becomes available for purchase and streaming.

Fun tidbit: Kyra has long planned an "all Leonard Cover" album (possibly along with a one or two of her own tracks, if they seem to fit); the working title for this future project was always "Thanks For The Dance."

The CD has been produced and album release date is 4/30/21. If things go correctly Take This Waltz will be available on iTunes before this time. (Album will be available digitally on all major platforms as well on the release date.)

For those who want to know more, the vocalist has had 2 Leonard covers available for a number of years in digital format only. This is her first complete album, which was mastered, produced, etc. by "the 2004 best unsigned guitarist in America ( https://www.mixonline.com/technology/ke ... val-380387 )" (Michael Kelsey) at his recording studio Kelsey's Playground.

The album was partly a leaning experience for Kyra to become more familiar with working in the studio, before she (eventually) turns her attention to an album of originals songs and an album of all-Leonard covers.

This is a professionally recorded, produced and polished album with a couple of stand-out Leonard tracks we certainly hope you enjoy.
