Hello friends

I'm happy to let you know the dates for the Ghent Event in 2022 are confirmed: the Event will take place during the weekend of August 5, 6 and 7 2022.
Our venue will be the same as the one we had previously booked for the postponed 2020 Event and is situated right in the heart of the old city center of Ghent. I am absolutely pleased with it! More info will follow later, of course.

As usual, the Event will have its official start on Friday evening (August 5 2022), but as many of you have experienced there will be non official gatherings and an Early Bird Welcome already on the Thursday before, so plan your stay accordingly. And for those who have difficulties saying their goodbyes: I'm sure there will be Cohenites roaming the lovely streets of Ghent on Monday aswell...

I'm confident the Event will bring us all back together to celebrate Leonard's life, works and music and enjoy each others company.

Hi Maarten - good to hear that dates have now been fixed and the event can take place in 2022 after all the turbulences. I plan to retire as of August 1 so the Event will be my first freedom weekend.

Hi Henning

The list you are referring to is the old list, but I have created a new one for the 2022 Event. We had around 127 participants for the 2020 Event before COVID-19 stepped in and people were given the choice to ask for a refund or roll their fees forward to 2022. The new list of about 91 people are all our participants who graciously allowed us the forward their fees to 2022 for the Event.

Good morning, friends,
It is exciting to imagine you all gathering again at last. Sadly, my only window of opportunity for travel this year is mid-July. I will probably go to Hydra then.
I will be with you in Ghent in spirit, singing along!

I too will celebrate with all of you in Ghent in spirit and thought! Wish I could have come but we were just in Holland for 2 1/2 weeks and got back home a couple days ago. If the event had been in May I would have been there in a heartbeat. Missed by 2 months. Have fun everyone!
