bernardo, is "magic time" the new van morrison album? i'm wondering if it's any good. i'm sure it is but i just found out he came out with a new album.
for me my playlist has pretty much been the new nine inch nails album, "with teeth." i'm seeing them at the end of may in concert and i love the new album. it's so much better than i expected. other than that a little kiss ("love gun") and lou reed ("the blue mask") to round things out a bit. hahaha.

Great thread! Keep it going. I'm furiously making notes. I'd say Van Morrison's Magic Time is a safe bet, T. I haven't heard it, but he's never really let me down. Devils and Dust is turning up a lot.
Laurie: Please find another way to say 'techno'. Thank you so much. Oh, have you checked out the Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentlemen thread? I think Ania started it. I love it! I don't know if it'd be in my top 10, but it's different.
Linda.

I'm glad to see so much Martha Wainwright (I didn't buy album yet: not imported) and Wovenhand! I bought his latest album Consider the Birds last month when I was in Austria - Laurie, did you hear it? (I'm going to Austria this week again, Martha, here I come
).
I guess this monthly topic is mostly for new music... or no-one listen to LC? I do every day, but that's not "monthly playlist" issue...
Henning, is new Ryan Adams good? I avoided it because it's his "band-album" - last year, "band-album" Rock'nRoll was total crap, and his simulatenously published "solo" Love Is Hell was, for me, unbelievable masterpice worth of Nick Drake or early Leonard Cohen.

In May? well... played MP3 of Luis Eduardo Aute, Dentro, Slowly, Aleluya, just sent by a e-friend, I like Dentro a lot, while at it, in my file of received and stored MP3 I replayed Fabrizio de André's Hotel Supramonte, Reihard Mey's Die kinder von Izieu, Graeme Allwright's For Mother and Don't you Forget it - and L'Étranger but from his Anthologie (not MP3) (the best French version of The Stranger Song form Cohen I know). I listened Ludwig an Beethoven's Sinfonai n.8 in fa maggiore op.93. Rigth now I'm listening Ella and Louis - can't we be friends? and I'll go trough the all CD. What else?.... Oh, yes, this guy named Leonard Cohen. A must. Should try this, guys, you'll loOove it! Kiss-cheek/kiss-cheek/kiss-cheek, ev.

I heard about Woven Hand on this forum last month or so (maybe it was you that mentioned them?) anyways. I ordered Woven Hand and Consider the Bird. I am not too fond of the 'birds' cd. Too overtly christian and the music just doesn't resonate with me like W H. I totally fell in love with cd Woven Hand. The Blush cd is an organic miracle. I don't know how else to describe it. Stunning. I appreciate whoever it was that mentioned their music. Thanks!
