Bird on a Wire Documentary Clip on YouTube

I finally got around to posting Avalanche from the almost unavailable '70's documentary Bird on A Wire on YouTube. Of all the people he became, the'70s Leonard is one of our favorites. The moodiness of this documentary and videos of Europe are dreamy, despite poor video quality. Enjoy.

Ahhhh... who needs a Bird on a Wire when you can have an Avalanche

?
Well, this is what I wrote on the latter:
Excellent work, Lightning... more and greater sharings of our Leonard, thanks to you.
Thanks to you!
~ Elizabeth
Now, for Bird on the Wire... this is one I so much love, with his speaking the French introduction

and all the poignancy and pain so tangible.
Thank you so much, Lightning.
I joined Daily Motion, just so I could save this to my Favourites. Now, I'll copy what I wrote here and put it there.
Love,
Lizzy

Third clip:
"Would you please appoint a spokesman?
. . .
Anyone else got anything to say?
. . .
I can stand here for a long time like this . . .
. . .
... nice and quiet now."

I like watching how Leonard handles situations

.
Thanks for your excellent work, Lightning.
Love,
Lizzy

Thank you Lightning for posting those clips.
It's made me dig out my copy of the complete film which I will be revisiting very soon.

Lightning, thank you again for sharing. Sounds amazingly good and is visually hazy in a very ‘artistic’ way. Was that Jennifer’s face in the background when he was singing SSLA Nancy? He looks so cool getting off the bus and his droll comments:“He’s hardly aware of it himself...Would you please appoint a spokesperson”

Great posts -- many, many thanks lightning!
Noticed that Marchant got a credit.. and am wondering now if he is not the shorter man seen a couple of times with Leonard. Anybody know?
Also finally sinking in that what seems like fourth generation worn video was done by Palmer "for effect." Too bad it hurts the eyes and detracts from the film IMHO.

I think the performance of songs is the best part of this film. Maybe I'll try for some more.
